About ClarAudit
Why ClarAudit Exists
The EU Artificial Intelligence Act is the world's first comprehensive legal framework for regulating AI. It entered into force in August 2024, with key obligations for businesses taking effect on 2 August 2026.
Most small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe use AI-powered tools every day — from email marketing platforms with AI features to customer service chatbots and HR screening software. Many do not realise these tools bring obligations under the Act.
ClarAudit is a guided assessment that takes you from "I don't know if I'm compliant" to "I have my documentation in hand" in a single sitting.
How It Works
ClarAudit's risk classification is powered by a deterministic decision engine — not artificial intelligence. The engine applies the specific articles and annexes of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 to the information you provide about your AI tools. Every classification is traceable to the exact article that drives it.
Where the regulation is genuinely ambiguous — and there are areas where it is — ClarAudit tells you so and recommends professional legal guidance. It does not guess.
The compliance documents themselves (risk assessments, transparency notices, vendor enquiry templates, and monitoring checklists) are generated with AI assistance, using the structured data from your completed audit together with the text of the regulation.
Built for European Business
ClarAudit was designed with European business culture in mind. The product uses British English, European date formats, and pricing in euros. The decision engine references the regulation as published in the Official Journal (EUR-Lex), citing specific articles by number.
We built ClarAudit because we believe compliance tools should be accessible to every business affected by the regulation — not just those with the budget for enterprise software or specialist legal counsel.
